Default Favorite day of the year

Yesterday was my favorite day of the year. Okay, maybe Christmas is better, but don't you just love the extra hour of sleep one crisp morning every October. No stress...no guilt...just sleep. I always wake up happy after the return to standard time, and it seems to last for weeks. Who should we petition in order to have the "fall back" day once a month?

Although getting an extra hour of sleep is VERY nice, I'll have say that it's not my favorite. My favorite is without a doubt Thanksgiving! Taking a whole day to reflect on what you have to be thankful for has always been a great time for me! Not to mention the little extra perks that come with it: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, cranberry sauce, & pumpkin pie to boot  Man, i'm hungry now...won't be long though!!

The sun comes up at the same time every day no matter what the clock says.

My internal clock didn't follow the "fall back" schedule. I woke up at my normal time and couldn't get back to sleep for that extra hour. The last couple days, I have felt like I am late getting to work.

Keta, the sun does come up every day, but you might want to reconsider the part about same time every day......from a former alaskan!

Usually you couldn't tell due to the clouds but it did come up for a few hours a day in Ketchikan.
