Default Old bamboo fish rod / looking for info

I have an old 2 piece bamboo rod that I would like to get more information about.
The number on the bag are 12shb Stone Harbor 2pc Boat 6ft6 fer. The thing that strikes about this rod is (other then it's in mint condition) the tip is a halo and has guides on both side of the upper half of the rod. (reversable?) I can't seem to find any information about the design.
Made by Montague Rod and reel company Montague City Mass. With it came a Ocean city no.110 Seattle Deep sea and lkae trolling reel 250 yd. size. Plus an assortment of wooden plugs and spoons.
I have spent countless hours searching the web looking for information. All I seem to find is stuuf about fly rods.

Thanks in advance for your help

No help here, but my boyfriend (Austin) has a similar setup. The rod is 5'6" in bamboo with the double (opposed) guides and the halo tip. The reel is a "New York City" 250 yard model, by Ocean City manufacturing, Philly PA.. It has a leather drag thumb protector.
He says it's been in the family for years, and probably was gramps'. He knows it was purchased on the north east coast but doesn't have any info beyond that.

I hope someone can shed some light on these old veterans of the fish wars!

The reel is easy. The Ocean City "Seattle" is a narrow spool trolling reel made about 1955. Little collector value --- $10-50, depending on condition.

There is little published about the Montague line of rods, other than a reproduction of the 1939 catalog which is available through most large dealers.

Also from the web:

"If you would really like to find out more about this rod contact Carmine Lisella @ 845-639-7630 after 9:00 am est and before 8:00 pm est. Carmine is the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to cane rods."
