Default Bait Shop- - - Longview Area??

Will be passing through Longview/Kelso area next week and need to pick up some good bait. Does anyone know of a good tackle/bait shop in the area?

Depends on what time you're passing through.

Bob's would probably be your best bet I think. Anyone from Longview/Kelso area have input?

Bob's..located on 12th and Hudson  in longview is the go to store for all your needs.

or manchesters in kelso..(sandshrimp)

Bob's has a bait window that opens at 7am and will let you in through the bike shop to get terminal gear etc.

It all depends on when and what you're looking for. Bob's is the goto place for most of your needs but if they're closed what do you do. It never stops to try any of the small mini mart gas stations you pass. Most of them carry some limited fishing supplies and bait of one type or another. Bakers Corner, the Texaco across from Fred Meyer, Holts Market on Oregon Way and a few more that I just can't think of right off the top.

Thanks guys. Sounds like Bobs is the place. I'll be going through there mid-day so it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks again.

Bob's has a special "Bait Window" open at 7Am even though the main store is closed. Sure helped me out on monday morning when I went to the Cowlitz mouth. Great store inside also.

Not from any bias in me but Bob's is unquestionably the best!

Good job Bob, both Matt's, Brad and the rest of the gang!

Try to plan at least a half an hour or better into the schedule. You may decide you need more than just bait. You need to look around!
