Default Blazers

Had my bosses courtside seats at tonights game....the Blazers looked pretty good. Even Rasheed played well, complained very little, and he even stood still during the national anthem. Hopefully, knocking on wood, this will be a new team this season. We'll see how long it takes for them to go back to business as usual.

Certainly you are not refering to the Nuggets game? I thought the Blazers were terrible. I was there with my kids (luckily they were free tickets) and was truly disappointed in their play. Seemed sloppy and not very aggressive. Just my point of view.

My dad and I have been going to Blazer games since 1987 and at the time most people just went to watch other teams play. Then the Rip City days came and those where awesome. You could always count on a great game regardless of the outcome. Those guys who played where no where near the talent level of todays Blazers but atleast those guys hussled. Guys like Rasheed and Bonzi have so much talent, but where is the hussle? These guys mope up and down the court and are half in the games. It would be great for those Rip City days to come back. Folks wearing Blazer gear, signs posted in every car on the street. But if this year is anything like last year, I will have given up all hope and my season tickets.
