Default Dinner & Lunch

Just to make your mouth water--

Sunday for dinner we had St Helens fresh springer cover with mayo, onions and lemon pepper baked in the oven. Side dishes included baked squash, boiled red potatoes and cold slaw. Umm.

Today for lunch we had some left over springer that had decided to dine on some herring being bounced on the bottom while being trolled for his early lunch. To make your spring sandwich mix some fish with mayo, celery and dill pickle and spread on a good bread.

That particular springer was part of a 4 fish pod which we saw in landing nets on Sunday. Seems this batch of springer's favorite food was herring over the kwikie's being offered. Weather was dry and not a lot of boat traffic. Great day and super eats.

As always, Fatfish (AKA Zipperlipped as always)...........
