Check to see if there is a cat rescue organization in your area. We got a new cat last May. I was out of work at the time and didn't really want to spend $150 to get it neutered. I contacted a cat rescue organization in Portland, and they sent me a coupon to get the cat neutered for $23.50 from a vet clinic in beaverton.

Might be worth a try.

The animal shelters will give you a coupon for discount spay and neuter work.

Default Veterinarian Recommendations

I recently got two free kittens (hopefully future mole killing machines!) and need to get them their shots and have them ‘fixed’. I really don’t want to spend much and am hoping I can get a recommendation or two for a veterinarian that is reasonable. I live in the Wilsonville area, so somewhere south of Portland, down I-5 or toward OC would work. Any ideas?

Thanks, RSL
