September 16
Hi...
September 16 is when all the upper rivers from hwy 101 open up to fall chinook fishing......YEA...its here once again.......
We are excited for a new fishing season to open up and my customers
are gearing up with new rods and reels ......its incredible......
We have salmon eggs and man they are really nice this year.
Coho fishing has been excellent everyone is limiting out.
Dennis has built some custom spinners and they have been working very very well. You have to come see them.
If you target fish in the upper river this time of year...go for the deep holes and the tributaries where theres oxyeginated water.
Most fish are still in tide water and the bay. I have heard of several 30 pounders and a couple of 50 pounders caught so far. I even have a picture of one from the Nestucca River. Bright and beautiful...~
We are looking forward to this fall fishery...and hope to see you here!
Great Fishing is just around the corner...don't be late and don't wait too long before the flooding rains come and flush them all to the Snake River..
See you soon,
Dennis
