Did some fishing to get my pride back ((PICS))

Ok so Fern Ridge had me down in the dumps for a while and then I finally got some free time and got out to do some more fishin. Caught two fish in total and both were a solid 5 pounds. The fish are really starting to move up shallow and feed. My dad went out and caught a 8 pounder the weekend before without me but had no camera :/. After he did that we had to hit it again and the fish were really picky. We literally had to pound spots till the fish would turn on. both fish were caught in five feet of water on wood. Hope everyone is getting out there and starting the fall feeding frenzy. Good luck to everyone.

Haha I was asleep in the car lol. Ya it was a great trip and my dad was having a ball. Thats always my goal. He works alot and fishin is good for him.

well jake, Dan has Headed east for a job for a while, so he isnt out giving the bass at fern sore lips. Maybe your luck there will change. I will be out there soon as they started draining the lake a couple days ago. good luck.

I drove by Fern yesterday. It is down atleast a foot maybe 2. I think im going to go out one nite after work. It depends on the wind direction.

I heard something about rain in the forecast. I will be in central oregon deer hunting for a while starting on the 1st. so that leaves them without sore lips a bit longer. After that, im going in.
