Went last year to "shock treatment" (same producers)... The best!..heck even the line of people waiting to get inside was frightening!

I recommend it to those who live in the area (Oaks park Portland) not recommended for youger fragile kids, I am uneffected by it in a "fear" sense...but laughed my butt off the whole time! Rated #1 in haunted house productions again this year, and benefits a worthwhile charity. Cant wait til the 15th

I was wondering if it was any good. It has literally been over 2 decades since I went to a scary haunted house.

Many look have been designed to scare toddlers (but not too much).

Anyone know anything about the haunted houses out in the country?

The best one I had been to was held in old mushroom caves. It wasn't load with tons of flashing lights. Just the opppsite. It was pitch black and very quiet. The caves were deep and they spread out the people so you didn't hear much of the others. The sreams you heard would echo and you couldn't tell where they came from. In the 20' wide by 20' high caves, there were sections where a light was shining horizontally above you head. Someone with a running chainsaw would swoop over you really fast in and out of the light. You coulnd't judge just how close they were.

It was pitch black and you shuffled through the sand holding on to a rope that led your way. You heard a low sound that you instantly recognized as a large dog just starting the deep growl in its gut. The growl grew louder and louder. Than stopped. There was a short blast of hot wet breath(air) on you lower legs. A little more growling. Then silence.... As you suffled further.. and further... a strobe light lit up somehting that was lunging at you with teeth beared...

...man that was a fun time.
