esoj Steelhead Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: canby Posts: 152	Dear boat Doc I replaced the starter on my "92" 90hp merc ,as I was putting back together I was puttting the cover back over the solenoids and tucked some wires in and "poof" something got hot. So I took the cover off and straiten the wires and replaced it again and started right up. Then I went to raise the motor and heard the power trim(kind of different) and it wouldn't go up or down. Please advise. THANK YOU!!!
