10,000 Geese
Grew up on the east side of the mountains and after spending 25 years away am now living on the big river. Always saw a few formations of ducks or whatever flying south in the fall, but today was awesome. I was working in the yard and every 10 - 20 minutes a couple hundred geese would fly overhead, heading south. My daughter sat in the sun and watched them. She being 13 and growing away from me, it gave us something to talk about as I worked. Pretty cool afternoon.
