Default Brownlee Next Week

Heading over to Brownlee next week staying on the powder river arm. Any updates from anyone over there for labor day?

We were up fishing for crappie over the weekend. Did quite well on red/white jigs with crappie nibbles. Bite was pretty light and they seemed to be lurking on the bottom. Catch a bunch.... although that means you have to clean them too (Not as fun!)

Thanks for the info. Bought a new fillet knife for the job of cleaning but I still need to make a fork like crappie chaser has for holding them will make that tonight.

If I remember right, it looks alot like a BBQ fork with the tines pushed closer together? Are the cleaning stationis at the park still going to be open for you, or do they close them after Labor Day? Wonder if you find someone locally to clean them (payed of course) if they are..... that would be sweet! Catching and no cleaning...

Going there ourselves. Will be staying at Hewitt Park in lower Gazebo area with sister and brother in law. If ya hear of any good tips where to fish please would appreciate a hollar. Thanks. Happy Fishing! Dodie

We will be in a tent and have an 18' foot smokercraft sled that we will be fishing out of. I'll stop by and give you a look up. Plan on getting there Thursday at noon. and fishing till noon on Sunday.
