McKenzie River Fishing?

I want to fish the Mac from the bank tomorrow. Anyone had luck out there recently? I'll be on foot, no boat.

I was also wondering if there are any bigger fish below the dam right now?

Steelhead are slowly becoming aggressive again after the Hot August lull, still a bit on the slow side. Was out on Wed., only a couple other guys out there spread out up and down the river, hooked and landed one steel.
