Heat the vinegar up some. Add cloves of garlic, onion slices, jalepenos, carrot slices, a good shot of salt, bay leaf or two, a little sugar and anything else you can think of in the way of spices or veggies. Cool well and add the eggs, don't touch for at least ten days.
Wow, I think I'm going to look for my big jar and make a batch today, It's been a while!
