Default Suicide by chanterelle hunting

Thought I'd go hunt for chanterelles today, but Bill thinks I shouldn't wear these. I thought it was a good idea? This way, the little hidy mushrooms won't be frightened. I'll just fit right in!

Seriously, folks, I went out the other day and it was a nightmare! People were shooting right over my head! Wear orange, and make sure you make loud noises!!!

Someone even had a machine gun! I ran for the truck! SHEESH you guys! Hunters: Watch out for mushroom pickers and dogs!

Be sure to wear your brown fur coat to Jennie. Little black shoes and one of those stickon clown noses in the color black. You'd do all this but not fish on the ocean. You are much more brave than I my dear. Be careful

Jennie! Would I do that? No, no, no... (despite the photo  ) I was merely implying that perhaps those mushrooms were extra tasty because you risked your life to get them. Assuming you did get some.

This is really no joking matter here. I once heard a father tell his son in a sports store the day before doe season, "Tomorrow, if it's brown, it's down." I almost got sick.

I stop grouse hunting when the general gun season commences because of people like this.
