"Genius is the ability to reduce the complicated to the simple."
Genius, in one respect, is like gold -- a number of persons are
constantly writing about both, who have neither.
He who would acquire fame must not show himself afraid of censure. The
dread of censure is the death of genius. :depressed:
Pure Genius
This poem is a masterpiece,
It's purpose is apparent.
It is a simple demonstration,
Of my prodigious talent.
I'm so completely marvelous,
My head can't get much bigger.
I'm a literary genius,
The poet Schwarzenegger.
Traditions cannot hold me,
My ability knows no bounds.
There is no limit to my ego,
My arrogance astounds.
So don't tell me how to do my job,
You can't tell me what to do.
'Coz I'm a pretentious poet,
And I know better than you.
Meter? Rhyme? Who needs them?
They're nothing but a farce.
And if you try to argue,
I'll come and kick your shin.
I don't need to have a structure,
I don't need to have a theme.
My genius must be recognised,
Or else I'll scream and scream.
This poem is not rubbish,
Don't try to criticise me.
For I am a literary giant,
And you are just a flea.
So don't tell me how to do my job,
You can't tell me what to do.
'Coz I'm a pretentious poet,
And I know better than you
