Default New Dog funny pics!

My wife and I adopted Jack, an 11-year-old Chow/collie mix.

He barks, a lot. He doesn't mind, anyone. And he is very, very fluffy.

So, after being woken at 2 a.m. every night for the last week, we decided to get even.

BEFORE

AFTER

Wouldn't you know, then the weather gets hot again. That after picture just kills me!!!

I bet you can hardly wait until he chases a cat, then you have an excuse to neuter him too. LOL, Just kidding. Good looking dog. Hope we have a mild winter though

After watching it grow 1/2 inch in two days I am sure he is going to be his fluffy self in a couple of weeks.

He is already nuetered. (Dang!)

Two or three weeks ago at the takeout at Newport I spotted a dog in a guys pickup and couldn't place the breed. Since it was a nice looking dog, I wandered over and asked what kind he was.

"Golden Retriever," the guy answered, "only I shave him for hunting season."

"Wow," says I, "so that's what they look like. I never knew."

So now we know what a chow/collie mix looks like under all that concealment.

I recognise that "wounded eyebrow" look! I've got a chow mix only 1/2 of the mix is Sharpei (SP?). If you think your adopted dog can wrinkle up and look sad you should see Tank!
Hmmm... haven't tried shaving him yet!

The respective angles of the tail in the two photos tell it all:

BEFORE
"I am DOG. Hear my wolf-like call and tremble in fear."

AFTER
"Oh, dear, I'm so embarrassed. I hope nobody sees me."

I had to do that to a cat one time cause he was a big matt of hair balls. He was so mad at me, he wouldn't even look at me. He looked like a lion with a mane and busy tail and paws.
