? Exit number off I-5 to get to the 42 street

I have never been to this Glisan(sp?) ramp before and would appreciate some directions to get there. Anyone know the exit number off I-5 that you need to get off at? It looks to me that you stay on Marine drive east until you get to 42. I assume you just follow the signs to the ramp at 42?

Everytime I get off I-5 to get on Marine Drive east I always seem to go past the exit I should take [img]graemlins/dork.gif[/img] :blush:

As a kid, many years ago, I cleaned that long warehouse at Trident. It was McCuddy's at the time. The planes were deafening.

If you're getting onto Marine Drive Ok from I-5 you've done the hard part. Keep heading east on Marine drive past Clemens Marine, past the golf course and Portland Yacht Club, past Trident Marine which is on the south side of marine drive at 33rd. As soon as you're past the boat dealers and restaurant on the north (river side) of Marine Drive the 42nd Street ramp is right next to Marine drive on your left.

Take the exit for Marine drive, then watch because the ramp splits for Marine West and Marine East. Take EAST. At the stop sign at the end of the ramp take a left, go under the over pass to the next stop sign and go straigt trough it. Now your on marine drive. Keep going past the shiny new Hewescrafts at Clemens Marine, and the fancy ski boats at Trident Marine, past 33rd ave, don't get distracted by the planes flying 20 feet above your head, and the ramp is on the left. You can see it from Marine drive, the Mult Co Sheriff's office is there at the ramp. It's called the James Gleason ramp.
