Default Seahawks in first place...

for all of you that jumped off the bandwagon so long ago, i am just here to let you know that your all not welcome back.
The hawks are for real this year and if they keep up there pace, they will see the playoffs and not only the first round, but a lot more. I have always supported them ever since i became a washington transplant. I like them and they are a very strong team. They will do well...
I have liked them since the mod 90's and I will like them until I am in my mid 90's. Later san fransisco, later st. louis, later san diego... the hawks are in town...

Go Seahawks... 3-0 aint bad at all...

The Seahawks, due to geographical proximity to WSU, will choke. Sure they might look good now, but mark my words, they will be flirting with .500 ball at the end of the season.

The Seahawks will win the Super Bowl this year because they will be led by the Great Cougar Marcus Trufaunt

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">I don't know about "led by"........but ol' Marcus has looked REAL good for a rookie DB.

We don't expect much Seahawk love from the Oregon side of the river..........although Mo Morris probably thinks the Seahawks are pretty cool. I think envy has something to do with it..........you know, with the Jailblazers being their only pro game in town.

KIDDING..........no, really.

I have to agree... Oregon boys are just a little upset that they don't have the clout to get a pro team.... but they do have such a talented bunch of basketball players and what an outstanding bunch of role models them guys are.

Seattle is for real and its ok what you guys may say about them. They are looking better than any of the other "really good teams" in their division and you can believe that its because old Mike Holmgreen gave up his duties in the front office. Seattle has some great talent. More than they have had in a long time... I'm a believer.

So who did you cheer for prior to the mid 90's? Just curious as to all the other bandwagons you used to ride on, and when you jumped off those wagons in search of better teams.

As for the "not welcome back", you may want to get more than 8 years under your belt with a team before you start driving the wagon.

Hey now... I used to like you tex but....

As for the "bandwagon" I was on, I was not a big football fan until I got into my teens which was in Washington state. Before then there was no bandwagon for me... Dont assume before you know because you know what happens then
Just playin tex...
I got on the Seattle bandwagon because I believed in the "local" team. Lived in Vancouver for 13 years from the ripe old age of 8... Didn't mean I knew much about the sport but I still liked them and still do. I also hopped on the Bills bandwagon and haven't hopped off yet. Nor will I.
I am a loyal fan and for you guys to say that I am not welcome is a little unfair. I dont need more than 8 years on a bandwagon because I aint 30 or older yet. I picked my teams because they were in state and because I really liked Thomas, Kelley and Smith on the Bills. I like UW more than WS but I never liked Oregon or PS... Now the Bills have Bledsoe and a great other bunch of guys. Seattle may have struggled in the past but I think Hasselback (?) is really becoming a great QB and Seattle's D is really good this year. They will go far and with coach finally doing what he does best, they will be a big threat for years to come... I dont know why you guys have to bash me down... I am right in saying that people aren't welcome back after jumping off the bandwagon because they shouldn't be allowed to. You can't like a team when they are winning and then stop because they are losing and then come back again... This isn't the stock market, its loyalty and thats what I got for the Hawks and Bills...
I live in AZ now and I wouldn't put a dime on the Cards and yet there are a few die hard fans and I respect them... Maybe thats why I dont respect some of the fans on this site because they aren't fans at all...
Like Gus said, they are simply johny come latelies, which I am not becasue I wasn't alive or if I was I wasn't old enough to even know who Largent was, that come and go like the wind... Fortunately for all of you, I dont turn that way.

Go Seahawks and Bills...

Fish on and Peace... I love this site.

The Seahawks are a much improved team, and probably will make the playoffs this year, and may win a postseason game or two. Frankly I think that is more an indication of the weakness of the NFC in general (and the NFC west in particular) than it is the Seahawks' strength.

Other than the Bucs, who else in the NFC will scare anyone? The Rams are on the decline. The Niners went as far as they can go last year. The Giants? Please. Eagles? Not so far. Pick any team from the NFC North and there are big holes.

2003 Seahawks = 2002-03 New Jersey Nets--the best of a thin crop.

HOWEVER--This is still the NFL and on any given Sunday...
