Sandy River Clean-Up... Big Success
Hello...
Time to "Ring the Bell" for the Steelheaders...
Last Saturday, the Tom McCall Chapter hit the Sandy from Oxbow down, and were able to pick-up over 400 Pounds of garbage!! The loot consisted of 3 rubber rafts, tires, sleeping bags, tarps, culverts, and of course beer cans & bottles. Enough garbage to have to unload our boats at Dabney Park!
A big thanks to all of those members that assisted. We'll be back at it again I'm sure later in the year.
And no...we didn't hook any fish but just being out there keeping the river banks clean, and the other anglers who were appreciating our efforts, was well worth it. Good "Fish Karma".
