Default Turks Head, weave, & Crosswrap

This project is moving right along. Got finish on a green scales wrap then put on a "Yellowtail in Kelp" weave, ramp, & turks head.

First time doing cording on my deckhand style builds and while the turks are a challenge still, they are fun too! Thanks Ken! (Ken's tutelage and jig did the trick!)

The weave is one of Doc Ski's patterns that I modified by flipping to face the opposite direction, adding additional strands of kelp, and my name under the fish. Trying to punch my skills up another notch.

Thanks Doc!

Still have guides & butt cap and final finishing to do.

I have not been a big fan of the turks head....but, this combo looks really cool. I also like the green and yellow combo!

Raymond,
That is a beautiful job. Unique approach to the handle with the cord incorporated and the weave is outstanding.
