Salmon river is alright. The zigzag seems pretty sterile in my opinion but there are a few trout here and there.

My brother Meskel lives on the Salmon river and most of the "trout" fishing ends up being smolts so be careful. There are good spots but most are private land unless you go higher or head to Wildwood.

Are steelies starting to return to the Salmon again now that Marmot has been taken out? That used to be awesome for wild steelies in the past.
