Default Yale reservoir

Fished Yale today. The weather was perfect for fishing. Light wind, overcast, but not cold. Didn't hammer them today, but has some action. The fish seem to be holding between the island and the dam, in about 40 to 85 feet of water. Caught all fish on a glo-in-dark-hoogie, with corn. Wife threw the tackle box at'em, and didn't get a hit all day. She usually out fishes me 2 to 1. The kokanee are starting to turn, but not as bad as Merwin. I was still able to use the hose to remove the scales when cleaning them. I would guess another week and you will start to see color in the males. Get up there while the getting is good.

Thanks for the report. 85 feet of water - wow that's deep! No wonder they liked the glo hoochie -- it was the only thing they could see down in the dark depths!

Pretty much used up the batteries on my camera charging the hoochie.
