Default Killin em at Clear Lake (Santiam Pass)

Yesterday I nailed em all day at Clear Lake. They loved green power bait.

Way to go thanks for the report I love that lake and 20" is a trophy in that lake (or any other lake as a mater of fact).

Are boats/motors allowed on either lake?

Carmen is also a "no motors" lake. Pretty quiet in there and a great place with the pontoon boat or other row-boat. Mostly rainbows with a mixing of brookies and really nice cutthroat.

If you get bored with Clear or Carmen, there is always Trailbridge just a bit farther down (also no motors, and use of artificials only, no bait) And of course if you are there and want to use a motor, head up the hill to Smith, usually holds a ton of fish, motors are allowed, and sometimes you can get into some nicer fish!
