Default Honoring the fallen - 9/11

No matter what your political perspective, this day, two years ago, marks a significant turning point in world history. My thoughts go out to all those who lost their lives or family members in the devastating attack on the World Trade Center towers. My gratitude goes out to the brave men and women in uniform who responded to the tragedy and especially to those who perished in attempting to help others.

I just remember the looks on the firefighters faces when they arrived at the towers and realized they had to go into that H@llhole

Chinookster, They didn't have to go in, they wanted to go in that is what we do.

Everyone thanks for the support over the past couple years. The firefighting family took a big hit and we honor our fallen brothers with pride. Never forget the 343 that gave all.

I am surprised that this thread is not getting more posts to it but I want to acknowlege those who have fallen and those who fight for and protect the freedom we enjoy today.

May God bless the families of those who fell on this day 2 years ago and those who now serve to protect our freedom and seek the justice that these families so richly deserve.

God Bless America

I've been avoiding this thread all evening. It was a horrible time in our nation's history. This day brings back a lot of bad memories. But we cannot forget, either what happened, or those who are keeping us safe today.
