Where and when is your favorite?
Where and in what month is your absolute favorite place to fish in Oregon?
Mine is June in the southern Willamette Valley. We have good hatches for trout fishing and the steelhead are coming up the rivers in full force. You almost can't miss wherever you go.

North Umpqua fly water. September. The later the better.

Puget Sound beaches in September. Big ocean coho crushing your fly as you strip as fast as possible.

Mid -late May on the D, before the big stoneflys hatch-- nymphing. Most of my biggest Redsides are caught in these conditions, but I am asuming not a really high water runnoff.

On the fly, October....anywhere! Mountain lakes, Deschutes, coastal rivers, valley. My daughter and I even slayed them at Hagg Lake last October.

Tanner creek in june and july and also at the mouth of tanner during october and november. lots of chinook and lots of steelhead....
