Diamond Lake-Labor Day Help?

I'm thinking about Diamond Lake for Labor Day. It's been about 25yrs since I've fished it. I have a couple of questions:

Any suggestions for Labor Day patterns?

Is it doable in a pontoon boat or will I need to rent a skiff?

Any bank fishing?

Absolutely great in a pontoon boat

Bank fishing can be tough, but if I were going to try it would be at the south end.

Weighted nymphs in green black or brown , the leeches are small with alot of tan or brown ones . Weeds are pretty heavy on the south end , troll a fly with your pontoon boat on the edge of the weeds should be good for a hog or two in the evening . Use a heavy enough flyrod to get them in and keep them out of the weeds ,the higher water temps make it pretty easy to kill a fish by playing it to long
