No need for boats anymore...
A high-speed land and water vehicle drives on the River Thames Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003. The Aquada is designed to reach speeds of 100mph on land and over 30mph on water and can switch between the two surfaces at the switch of a button. Gibbs Technologies, who designed it, says that no other road-legal amphibian has managed to exceed 6mph on water. (AP Photo/ Stefan Rousseau, PA)

But is it 4 wheel drive, or do you still need the ramp?

Re: No need for boats anymore...
Heard about it on NPR this morning. A mere $200,000, and it's yours. No doors, to keep it watertight. First year production run intended to be 100 cars.

Re: No need for boats anymore...
Hmmm, I wonder how good the bildge pump(s) are? What if you take a wave over the hood? Looks like ya could be in trouble quick.
How many handlines could I attach on there for TUNA?
