Default Good Samaritan in St Helens

Took the wife and dog to St Helens today for alittle URB fishin  . Wind was kicking up to much for the wifes liking so we headed for home :depressed: . Just west of St Helens a wheel bearing froze up on my boat trailer wheel was about two revolutions from comming off :depressed: :depressed: . The only place I could stop was the median strip in the middle of the highway. Labor Day weekend only store open was Walmart they didn't have the right bearings :depressed: . Im out of options, when along comes Jack the guy that owns Cooper Auto Parts  . He opens his store sells me the bearings and seals, saved the day thanks so much for your kindness Jack really renews my faith in my fellow man.

Restores your hope for society...

Smart man though, he probably made a customer for life and influenced numerous others.

But did you catch any fish?

Years ago pullin my sled out of the Santiam at Jefferson I had a bearing problem. A guy pulled over to see if he could help. I pulled the boat into his garage about 2 blocks away and he helped change out the bearings.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Um, not to be a party pooper or anything, but for clarification it's "Cooper" Auto Parts rather than "Copper". I've known Jack for 15 years and he's a good guy, even for a NAPA type.
