Default small driving victory

I was driving down the hwy and there was a guy in the fast lane going slower than me. So we pass a car and I wait for him to pull over which he doesn't. The road was clear in the right lane. So after a while I pass him on the right. He decides that he doesn't want me to pass him, and speeds up. Just then we go through a speed trap he slows way down, and gets in the slow lane, but it was to late he got busted.

Finally!
I'm always waiting for something like this to happen when I'm out and about. Seems like I'm always saying to myself.....where's the cop when we need him?

Diving slower in the fast lane. I'll bet he had Washington plates.

I think Washington has a law that states slower traffic keep left.

We were coming back from the coast on Hwy.18 a couple of years ago on a sunday afternoon. There was this guy in a new Mustang convertible that was speeding, passing people in no passing zones, 2 or 3 cars at a time, just plain being a hotshot. We got about to the Yamhill county line outside of Sheridan and a nice OSP officer had him stopped and looked like he was really reading him the "Riot act". It made my day!!!!!!! Every once in a while there is a cop when you need one!!!!

A few (many?) years ago we were heading to central Oregon through the Reservation. There is a very long upgrade out of the canyon. A very long line of polite people doing just at or just under the speed limit. Nobody was having a problem. We were in a caravan of about 5 cars with our friends in amongst the other travelers. A car full of young people (about our age) was busy passing people in the oncoming lane and literally running oncoming traffic off the road. Opening their car doors and hanging out at 60+ MPH. Since we had CB's we called ahead to the State Police and gave them a description and a license number. In the next town they had them pulled over. Every single car that had been passed by them was honking their horns and giving the police the thumbs up as they drove by. The officer looked a little shocked at the number of happy people passing them. The driver of the car just gave everybody the one finger salute. Pure justice.

hey dipnet, i think i was on the same stretch of road on the same day. the jerk in the white mustang blew our doors off and was generally just being a traffic menace. it was good to see that car on the side of the road with a cop car behind it. really made my day.

Those guys with Washington plates driving slow in the left lane, are all ex-Oregonians who moved to Washington to get their kids in better schools!

Well, maybe all but a couple

Do Ford dealers ask for proof of being an idiot before someone can buy a Mustang? Mustang 5.0's account for an amazing percentage of the moronic behavior I see on the road. I wonder what the average age of a mustang owner is.
