Hagg lake today..

Henry Hagg Lake opened back up for the year on 28th saturday, I fished it today Sunday, water level has risen from the fall season Almost up to normal bank level.

dozen or so boats trolling, looked slow, bank fishing was slow. no sign of fish activity.

hopefully the scheduled stocking for march 1st will make the lake alive again.

Does anyone know where all those tens and thousands of trout stocked couple times a year go??? they must grow signficantly and be somewhere in the lake in great numbers...

Just curious because im guessing the stocking of fish compared to harvest ratio is far apart..

Thanks for the report. The cove on the south side of the dam holds a lot of fish through the year. It is a bit snaggy from the riprap off the dam, but this time of year the fish suspend and you can use a night crawler under a bobber.

Thanks for the input, that part of the cove where the rocky boulders run along was also very slow today.

So does anyone else know where the older resident trout roam?? still curious..

I was there today, we caught about 5 in 3 hours, triple teasers were the item of choise for us, fast troll in the north west end.... half stockers, half hold overs.
