XP Security Updates/Browser Graphics Slower?

Is it just me? Anyone else notice graphics and pictures seems to load slower in the IE 6 browser after the recent virus security patches for XP?

Nope. I haven't noticed. Have you cleared your cache lately though?

Messed with the cache size, etc. Pretty sure it's just intermittent Comcast performance/Internet Backbone Router virus congestion and screening, but was curious if anyone else saw any strange IE behavior after all of the patches.

The only difference I noticed is a general slow down of the web. I assume that is because of the traffic being generated buy all the latest viruses flying around.

just in case, go download stinger from mcafee. it's free and it will kill off any of the latest round of viruses you might have. it's not a cure-all but it will take care of the latest ones. your lack of bandwidth may actually be due to your PC consuming it by trying to propogate the virus. also, i recently downloaded spybot. it found some tracking stuff on my system and my browser seemed a lot snappier afterwards.
