Default GI Joes Derby launch Question

This will be my first year running in the derby and I have a question for you derby vets about launching. Just how big of a mess is it with every trying to put in at the same time? What time should I plan on getting there to insure we don’t have any problems?

Any other helpful tidbits would be greatly appreciated.

Done this a couple of years now and we usually go to capt. meeting, friday night, have a good time,
get back to the garage discuss alittle, hit the
peppermint bottle head home talk to the wife, set the coffee timer, set the alarm crawl into bed a little after midnight, up at 4, strive to be at boat launch 1.5 hours before kick off. This allows you to pick a nice spot to park the boat on the beach or tie up at the docks and have the sheriff chase us away from their doors, and watch the launch explode. Just our plan seems to work for us. Good luck
