Brownlee Crappie

Good morning,

I'm heading up to Brownlee over Labor Day weekend and was curious how the crappie fishing has been as of late. Thanks.

I was there acouple of weeks ago and had no trouble finding them on both the Powder and the main Snake. Best success was exposed points and at least 8'-10' deep. I saw some of the largest schools of the year on the fish finder. They were a bit heavier than they were in June too. I'm headed over mid-September for one last trip.
Be advised the water level is down, at least when I was there. The east ramp at Hewitt was barely usable for my 19' boat. The gas station was open Tues-Sat only.

Hope the water level holds making my last trip to Brownlee first week of September.

I am also going on Labor day weekend. Will be fishing from shore, closer to Huntington.
