Fire closes HWY 20 to Central Or

For now the hwy is closed, comming from the west to the east, I think at Detorit??
From the East to the west at Black butte
Fire is 1 mile off the hwy @ the summett.(around HOODO??)
Try MT HOOD, Or 58.

97 was closed at Chiloquin because of a grass fire on Sunday. :depressed: That was fun.
I was driving north tonite toward Redmond when I saw the fire you're talking about. Thanx for posting, I was wondering where it was. It looked like the east side of Mt Jefferson, but the farther north I got, the more it looked like 3 separate fires. The smoke from the closest one was pouring over a ridge about 15 miles west of 97 and blowing N/NE. The wind was gusting in that direction, and that's not a good sign. :depressed:
