Default Best Tme of the year (Go Beav's)

This has got to be the best time of the year. Collage football is starting in a few days. Archery season starts in a couple of weeks. Salmon fishing is getting into full swing. So much to do and very little time to do It.

GO Beavers

I'm a beaver fan by marriage. But from the fans that I've seen on both ends of Ducks Vs. Beavers, I'd have to say that Beavers fans have way more fun!!! and they aren't all stuck on themselves.

GO BEAVERS!!!

and Quick Fisher, since WSU is where my sister lives, hehe...

GO COUGARS!!!

This time of year brings back some sweet memories, Beaver football season, and the fishing and hunting seasons. I can remember many Game Days, running out of C-town, bagging a buck, and skinning it out and hanging it in time to grab a beer and walk across the street for the kickoff. The neighbors didn't really like it, but it was game day, for the animals and the team.

LS,maybe it's going on national TV this year. I can see the headlines now. Beavers pound Ducks in real stadium. Don't forget those cool duck lips.

YOU Oregon fans (U of O and OSU) are pretty pathetic. You get excited to have a losing season. Just Kidding. If you would only walk into the light and come up to Washington where we know how to play football. Cougs are going to dominate again this year contrary to what many believe.

BuckisMunz: I knew we could agree on something.... GO COUGARS!!!!
YOur sister must be very smart if she lives there.

The U of O campus seemed pretty sleezy to me (No offence). OSU seemed like a much nicer place. Nothing beats the Palouse,

I just have never understood what people get out of watching sports. Absolutley makes no sense to me at all. If it was a super heavy rain or freezing blizzard out ~ well ok. But otherwise I would rather be outdoors.

I do like a good tailgater and the commercials during the superbowl.

Hhmmm, I am wondering if this is a good time of year? Don't get me wrong, I love college football, but I am used to being at the cutting edge. Not on outside looking in. Go beavs, Go Ducks, but in my heart Oregons got nothing on my Huskers. GO BIG RED!! Here's to the start of another 40 years of 9 win seasons. The big dog went down last year. Hope he can return to the big dog he has always been in my life time!!

Husker, your right about Nebraska being a football power house. But we're kinda on a budgit out here. Besides I don't think URB's run in the midwest.

1. Why do osu cheerleaders wear high heels?
so their hands won't drag on the ground.

2. Why doesn't the osu football team have a website? They can't seem to string three W's in a row.

3. Directions from U of O to osu,
Go north on I-5 until you smell cow sh__, west until you step in it.

GO DUCKS!

Just an FYI...

If anyone is planning on attending the first couple of OSU home games, plan on additional traffic headaches. There are a couple of road construction projects going on in the area of Reser Stadium. Be aware that road construction on 35th street will be in full swing between Western Blvd. & Hwy 20/34 (Philomath Blvd.)

Good Luck Beavs!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Well, the Beavs ought to be mighty hungry since we've seen them dine on Dawgs.......what, about once in the last 10-12 years?

The Pac-10 is WIDE open this year......it's gonna be a heckuva ride.

Sorry boys and girls but I have to stand up for the DAWGS...

When it comes down to it we have the best QB in the PAC-10 and possibly the country.. Ok maybe not the best but he has got to be the toughest out there. Too have a seperaed shoulder one week and be back in two, then throw for 455 yards that is one tough kid.

Then you add Williams to the mix. What do you end up with you ask????? Well I will tell you. You get the best QB & receiver in the PAC-10 and they will both break all kids of records again this year..

Now my worry is with the Defense. Are they going to be like to old Chargers of the 80's. Score a ton of points but give up more then you score???

I would love to see UO or OSU start off each year playing one of the top 5 teams in the nation. Instead of someone like Sac St. or Miss St. Come on give me a break.
