Re: IGNORE THIS POST!
Tell me... When you work in those little office boxes in Portland, on computers, is it OK to put your favorite cd in, and listen to it, full blast?
I can't imagine not being able to do that!
I'm having way too much fun with the music up too loud!
I love the old Tower of Power hits... "What is hip?" "Bump City!" whooooooooo hooooooooo!
Feeling way too good today. What is it? Those new vitamins I'm taking? If so, I'm buying more!

Re: IGNORE THIS POST!
Jenny;
Don't use binoculars to look for meteors. They limit your field of view too much and are cumbersome etc.
The Perseid meteor shower you were looking for was kind of a bust this year. They wern't very spectacular.
A good place to find some information is http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/..._search?meteor this is a nasa website. There are years of really cool pictures, alot of them from the Hubble Space Telescope. this is one of the best website I have encountered. The links are fantastic! and the pictures! WOW!
I will try and make a post when the next good meteor shower is coming up. Most likely the Leonids in November. You know what the chances of it not being cloudy on a particular night in November in the Northwest is? Two years ago the leonids were a great meteor "STORM". Some friends and I went up into the mountains and saw thousands!
As Jack Horkheimer says "Keep Looking Up"

Re: IGNORE THIS POST!
Oh, your talking about Cubicles. HMMMMM!!! they suck. We had 1000's of MP3's and they finally took ALL of them away from my work. so now we have nothing to listen to but our CDs, but I couldn't work a day at all without my music. WOOHOOO!!!

Re: IGNORE THIS POST!
I also had a cubicle once. Mine was the the one right next to the door separating the office from the warehouse. Everybody who entered the office saw me first. Some people even stopped to gawk, since the wall was only chest high. IMHO, going to the zoo and watching a baboon pick fleas off it's bum would be far more interesting than watching me yak on the phone, but still people would stop and gape despite my reputation as a mean and spiteful individual. This was bad enough, but a few brave souls would actually lean on the divider and rest their armpits on it while their arms drooped over into my sacred space and knocked off calendars, pictures, irritating memos and whatever else I had pinned to the thing.
No, I don't miss my little padded cell........I guess my point is that my favorite Tower of Power tune is "So Very Hard To Go" :tongue:

Where did PDXkevin get the group hug? That's awesome! Can we add that Jennie? We need more "nice" smilies.
