Pump, what are you worried about the cows for? The chickens are the ones with the choppers!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Actually, I was down there for the Air Guard's Century Eagle war games, air show, and free beer extravaganza. There were so many freakin' planes (F-15's, F-16's, F-4's, C-130's, KC-135's and who knows what else) that no chicken, no matter how skilled, would stand a chance. If he didn't get shot down, he would've gotten creamed in a collision.
I drove in the back gate and the first thing I saw was an F-16 flying
inverted at about 500 feet over the flight line, afterburner blazing. You don't see that every day. I watched him burn a full tank in about 15 minutes while he practiced for the big show tomorrow. If you're going to be in the KF area, that's a must-see, and it's free. It's pretty casual, and they let people hang out on the flight line and check out the hardware and the control tower. And it's free!
I'm going back on Sunday. I get paid for going, but the bad part is no beer for me. :depressed: Today the ground crews stuck a keg in the back of a golf cart and were driving out and meeting the arriving pilots with cold beer. Must be rough.
