Looking for a six speed F-350 Powerstroke

I am in the market for a late model, low mileage F-350 Powerstroke with six speed, crew cab, 4x4 and long bed. I've called every dealer in the Portland metro area, and Vancouver, Woodburn, Sandy, Estacada, etc. Lots of automatics but no six speeds. Anyone know of a dealer or private party that may have one?

Have you looked in the Auto-trader?

Six speeds are kinda tough to find. Most want an auto and guys that have the manual usually just order them. You might also try and look at dealer's that are in farm country. I'd guess there would be more dealers outside of the metro area that would stock more 6 speeds.

Several dealers have said that I will have better luck finding a six speed on the east side of the mountains. Tomorrow I am calling some dealers in Bend, Madras, and the Dalles. They are scarce on the west side of the Cascades!

If a dealer really wants to sell you a truck they could do a dealer trade. I have done this in the past. Tell then what you want and they give you a print out of what is on the lot at all ford dealerships in OR,WA, and ID. I think they could do this with used rigs as well.

Or how about a broker?

Or just be patient. Heck I bought my dream truck right here on ifish off the classied boards. F-350 CC DRW 4x4.

Waterfish...have you found a truck yet?

A friend of mine has one that he might part with. It's an 01 F350 CC Lariat 4x4 Long bed, PSD and 6 spd., black and a few goodies for the PSD, and around 49K miles.
