Default Here's one for ya

I was at the family beach house (lincoln city)this weekend and saw the funniest thing. We all had to do a double take and break out the binoculars to believe our own eyes. A blonde lady was walking her very well behaved dog (on a leash) down the beach. Until you took a bit of a closer look and realized it was a raccoon! Trotting down the beach beside his owner just like it was an every day occurance. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing before?

Back in Texas (funny how a lot of stories start like that) when I was in college, I was at a red light in my college town (Waco), and noticed the car next to me had some old coot driving it and he had his cat on the back of the seat like a big headrest. Upon a second take, it was a giant raccoon!!

Funniest thing I ever saw.

When i lived in Pennsylvania my friend had a large , about 40 lbs or so racoon , and it was the funniest kritter you ever would see. They are pretty intelligent, and like to get into trouble. it loved oreo cookies, and if you ever watch one eat , they like to wash things off first. I think it has something to do with there saliva or lack of , but it would dip every cookie in a bowl of water before eating.

My very first job back east...."Vinnies Pizzaria"..
Vinnie (my boss, and from what I later learned, my great uncle twice removed ) had a pet racoon named "WAP"

Thus my education on the slang term "WAP"

(Without A Passport)

They had WAP for 10 years when it attacked my aunt Celia and bit her face.....Vinnie chased it with a baseball bat for two hours before it ran into the road and got "pizza'd" (Vinnie style)
