Every year we hear that, and every year it's 7-9, or 8-8, or 6-10 or something similar. Doesn't matter to me. As far as I'm concerned they can go 16-0, and they'll still suck. If I lived in Seattle, or even Washington, I might feel differently. But I live in PDX and for years I've been forced to suffer along with the fans up north, since the networks and the print media insist on cramming the Seachickens down our throats because they happen to be geographically the closest NFL team.
Yeah, I know. Waaah, waaah, waaah, get your own team, etc etc. BTW, I'm an Eagles fan (note the avatar) so I've already suffered enough.

I remember when a no name coach took over a bunch of rag tags, drafted a defensive lineman out of North Texas State named Joe Greene FIRST in the draft (something that was considered mental at the time) and the rest is legend...

STEELERS ROCK,

November 2, 2003 I'll be lower level in my Black hard hat, wearing my black Lambert #58 and watching the sea nags self-destruct.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">A while back I was watching an interview of John Elway on TV. He was talking about the first NFL game he ever played in, probably 20 years ago. He was nervous enough, but then he walked up behind the center, got ready to take the snap, and then he looked up and saw Jack Lambert snarling at him from across the line, missing teeth and all. Elway said at that moment he would have rather been anywhere else.

I forget who coined the nickname "Vampire in Cleats?"

Jack would start the season off a whopping 215lbs and by the last game he would weigh 190lbs.

Chuck Knoll said he went to scout him at Kent State (where he was the Tangerine Bowl MVP) and Jack was out in a parking lot diving for balls.

Pretty amazing when you compare men like that to Randy Moss... huh?

Yours,

Believe me..Seattle will be awful tough this year...im not a Seattle fan, actually,im not a team fan of anybody i just like to play the NFL. it has been good to me. But if you are goin to look at a team, and see how they will do, look how they finished the year before and how well they tighten up there defence in the off season. In which Seattle did very well they picked up some very good run stoppers, and have a hell of a defencive backfield. plus with another year on there quarterback Seattle is going to be very tough. i am picking them to go high in the play offs. ( if nobody gets hurt).

The reason why Portland does not have a pro football team is then Seattle would want one.

Get real guys. Trash talkin the hawks is what everybody does. I have watched the hawks for years and I see more Raiders fans and Eagles fans and Steelers fans at the games then Hawks fans. The hawks may go 8-8 or 6-10 but who cares, my options are to watch the Trailblazers? Or if things keep going a rejected Expos team? The hawks look strong with Rhoads helping out and Hand coming in, the D is deeper then ever this year, the question will be if Hass can keep the offense moving with no back up. Some day, when the hawks get somewhere, whenever that will be I will see all the bandwagin guys be hawks fans, because then it will be cool to wear their jersey instead of Eagles, Steelers, Bucs or Raiders. I will be the one with a Jim Zorn faded bright blue jersey, comparing them to the 1984-1985 team.

Yeah the Seahawks look good this year I watch them faithfully every time they are on. I'm also a Dolphin fan those two are my favorites. I think It'll be the Dolphins and Seahawks in the Superbowl wouldn't that be nice.

Every since the late 80's and early 90's I have been a seahawks fan. I am also a Bills fan. They is my two fav teams and even when the Bills went 0 and 4 I was there and still am... I remember them seahawks never winning but I still liked them. I guess living in that state made me a die hard and I still am today... I think both teams look good this year and I am cheering them both on.
As for the Cards, I wont be holding my breath but you never know...

Football is coming...
