Default Yamaha service question and an extra

I have a F60 on my Lund and need to resolve a miss at 1800-2000 rpm, since NR closed their shop I have not found a good place to take my motor for TLC. Does anyone have a recommendation on a Yamaha tech or service center?

Next, throttle linkage. While out today, I had to pull off the power on a large wake. When I got back on it, motor sounded different - it was like I was at 4-5000 feet in elevation. Usual WOT is 5800, I had a hard time getting out of 4500. Turned out the throttle linkage came apart so only one carb opening up.

I found the screw, but not sure if I need to look for lock washers and what not. Also what would be the proper procedure for putting it back together. It has some room for adjustment for the linkage.

Thanks in advance.

One of the old North River Yamaha service techs now works for Northwest Marine Solutions in Clackamas. His name's Chris. Give Guy or Chris a call at 503-505-4544. They've treated me well so far, and have great customer service.

I used to work with Chris for some time at NR service center. Really give him a call he knows what he is talking about...one of a hand full of Yamaha Cert. techs around.
