Friday Surprise

Every Friday at our office they bring in donuts. This Friday, we had a surprise....Krispy Kreme donuts. Finally, I can taste one of these donuts (havent had one since I was a kid in GA).

Here are my reviews:

1) Glazed cake donut...quite tasty actually. I would say it is on par with others, perhaps a notch above.

2) Regular glazed donut...nothing special, so it loses a point. No, they are not still warm, so perhaps that takes something away from them. Its a little unique tasting compared to a regular donut, so for that I give it one extra point. Verdict, equal to any other glazed donut in the world.

So all in all....good donuts, but not so remarkably better that I'd wait in line or go out of my way for them.

Nope, we dont work together....but I drive over the Fremont Bridge quite frequently. Fremont is also the name of a town in California. California is home to a lot of farms. A lot of farms raise pigs. Pigs make bacon. Kevin's last name is Bacon! Wow...6 degrees of separation really holds up!

Had my first KK donuts too. Yep, the rumors are true, it's a donut. Sure nuf, it's a donut alright. Yawn.....
