I cant quote where to find it, but essentially, after God flooded the world, thus setting Noah out on the ark, He realized what he had done, and basically gave us the rainbow as a reminder of his pledge to never again do that...and to watch over us. Something to that effect anyway. :smile:

That's the one!

I think of that every time I see a rainbow now. My wife and I took a Disciple class at our church a year or two ago. It's a lot of reading, and weekly meetings, but an amazing learning process if you have the right leader and group.

Have you ever noticed that on a double rainbow the colors go in opposite directions? for example...if you put the rainbows together, the reds would be back to back...then yellows...and so on....

I always found the double rainbows awesome....
