My trusty senko wacky style failed me (photos:) two 5 pounders
I fish a couple hours and only got two bites. Okay I got the hint the bass wanted something other than a 3 inch senko wacky rig. I had a good day tossing a bandit crank bait in blue splatter back and chart. and a chart colored wedge spinner bait (my personal favorite spinner). I landed 5 bass out of 7 hits but two of them were five pounds pluss and the other nice one was a three pounder. I got to of the nice bass off rocks and the biggest off a log. light rain very light wind!
Thanks
Roger

I know how to catch bass on other lures. But for me the senko is the most productive lure ever made, except for last Tuesday . I have landed 7 pound class bass on: grubs, spinner baits, crank baits, buzz baits, spider jigs, jig & craw. But I really enjoy slinging a sassy senko .

Re: My trusty senko wacky style failed me (photos:) two 5 pounders
yes they do, I have had bass pull me into trees. But with the right presure you can turn them before they get in the thick stuff if you are lucky. The name of the lake to dangerus for the lake. to much presure will kill the bass. I only fish this lake once every two years. so I do not beat the bass up too much. Hagg lake is good for bass fishing so is the willy down town. I have landed over 400 bass this year and more than 400 of them with out the aid of a gass motor! try that some time. others that may know the lake please only pm others if you must tell some one of this lake. I am glad to help with other water that you can catch some quality bass. But some places need protection. Sorry! if you would like a great map of silver lake just let me know!
Roger

Re: My trusty senko wacky style failed me (photos:) two 5 pounders
I actually catch more bass per year from my pontoon boat, and from shore than I do with my 25hp fishing boat. I think boats can be the cause of missing some really nice fish sometimes. My PB Crappie, SMB, LMB, and Channel have all come shore/Pontoon bound.

Re: My trusty senko wacky style failed me (photos:) two 5 pounders
Roger, Have ya ever tried using fins with your pontoon? I can't stand not having them on. It's like having a hands free trolling motor, real nice for going down a bank or kicking away from a big fish. If it's chilly or gross pond water I just throw on my stocking feet waders. Oh yeah and nice fish too.

Nice job! I remember the post you made when you had just bought the toon. Seems to be working out for you! I love them.
