Default lake Billy Chinook

Would like to fish LBC in a couple weeks for bull trout. Have never done it. Have gotten some help but would appreciate any other help I can get. Do I need a Warm Spring's permit to fish in the Metolious arm?

I may be mistaken, but I believe you do need to have a Indian permit to fish any waters on Lake Billy Chinook. I know that as a kid fishing there, we always purchased an Indian License, and only fished the Metolious arm.

No mistake - Warm Springs permit needed for the Metoleus arm.

Metolius arm is open March 1 to October 31 and requires a tribal fishing permit. Bull trout 1/day with a minimum size of 24 inches. Rest of the lake open entire year.

smokerchick,

Go to this site http://www.tritsservices.com/default.asp?
for info about LBC. They can tell you how to get into fish.

smokerchick,

When the Metolious arm opens in March, most people fish around the island for the bull trout. Don't forget about the Kokanee, they might be a tad small then but are one of the best smoking fish around.
