Intentions

Each day a challenge emerges
And adds to others still there
Pulling and tearing
Heartfelt or hurtful
All are filling the air

Trying to explain all intentions
But results are just very wrong
Or right, but different
Incredible emotion
And still not my song

Do we have to win all the battles?
With justice or truth or might
The need to be righteous
Or the direction of evil
Can cloud all our sight

And the battles are battles
They are not always wars
So careful when wishing
And forcing issues
we don’t know the score

Intentions that are totally honest
Strong and with feeling for sure
For they always guide me
Direction and focus
Thanks for taking the tour

Draw me into my battles
To which I have no reply
Why all my intentions
Are so intense
We all slowly die

Living and not at all slowly
Feeling blessed to be held
Is often the solace
A great life event
A strong secure weld

My heart is now spent
Seeking help for emotion
Intent in the wind
And hope is mine
For all the great notions

Is love on the edge
Or is it over the top?
Is it needed?
Right now
Tell me to stop!

But back to intention
The ones that I love
Will maybe be grateful
Feel it forever
As stars are above!

I didnt want all that work to go to waste. That's pretty original, i didnt know you were that talented. You should tell your wife you wrote it for her and get some brownie points. :grin:
