Carl Malone and Gary Payton to the Lakers.
Interesting

A clash of egos for Malone and Shaq.Wow, that will be fun to see!
Not a big fan of malone or Payton, but Carl does hunt and fish so I guess I have to give him credit for something.

Karl pulled the trigger too? I heard he would sign if Gary did. Scary. Seems like too many guys that want 20+ shots a night.

Nothing is official yet. Gary said that he will sign with the Lakers on the 16th, but Karl still says that there are a handful of teams in the running. Sacramento, Dallas, LA, and someone else.

Scary if they can get those players playing nicely together. VERY scary.

Darn, i like Gary but dislike the Lakers. I guess they are desperate for another championship. But hey remember when they brought the best shooting shooting guard, Glenn Rice? Too much talent, not enough minutes and like what was said earlier, EGOS.

I hate the Lakers so much I can't stand it. And this stuff scares the hell out of me. It's like making the 1992 Olympic Dream Team a regular NBA team. Dammit, now my Kings really have to suck it up. Hope Malone goes to Sac just so LA can't have them.

Of course, the whole "sharing the ball" thing will keep Kobe out of the mix right from the get go, so maybe that's good....

Even if this all does come down, it will remain to be seen if it will work. I some how think that Shaq will find a way to pout [img]graemlins/dork.gif[/img] about this instead of using the opportunity to play on a Dream like team that could crush the rest of the NBA. I think it will be an intersting experiment, which I hope fails.
