I understand hes not been charged yet. Okay then why has he posted a $25,000 bond if hes not been charged? Am i missing something here? Smells funny. Or does the media mean indicted? Someone help me. :smile: Or help the media get their stuff straight.

the sheriff's office in vail went to a judge and obtained an arrest warrent for kobe, only the da's office can charge him with a crime. the sheriff might have jumped the gun......hope this helps

I could be wrong here (kind of hope so cause I HATE Kobe), but here's my take.

I will be really surprised if there is actually anything to this. As much as I hate him, I really don't think Kobe's that dumb. Could be, but I have to see it to believe it. As for the 25K bail, his option was running. Not a good plan for a superstar. Might help the "street cred", but definitely hurts the image. And makes you look guilty as hell.

as for comparing him to Damon...Kobe's crime is alleged by the victim, Damon got caught by a cop with dope and admitted it was his on the spot....not much to argue there.....and the cops are in no real danger that the story got out, not so in the case of an alleged crime with no other witnesses present....

and if he did do it, temper your pity for his wife with the knowledge that a guy doesn't just go out and get this way all at once. If this is the kind of guy he is, she most likely already knew when she married him, whether she admits it or not. Feel sorry for his daughter....
