I've been following nascar for many years now,I was a big fan of open wheel racing (cart) however, now that the IRL has formed I like that racing alot better than cart.Greg Biffle did a hell of a job last nite. But I was rooting for Mike Bliss as he made his Winston cup start of the 03 season for Joe Gibbs Racing.Way to go for the local guys.

I cannot and will not watch IRL after what Tony George did to ruin the Indy 500 by limiting all but a few spots to IRL drivers. I had been watching that race since I was 10, and Tony George's IRL ruined it all.

Now I look forward to F1, CART and Nascar, in that order....

But even better than auto racing is the Tour DeFrance!! Go Lance!

It's great that he won, what a place to get your first win. I wonder if it would have felt better if he had beat a DEI car that was in the same pack?

If there was a DEI car in that pack (with more fuel) he wouldn't have won. go Jr. Nothing against Biffle, He's one of my drivers on fantasy NASCAR. It's just REALLY hard to get around Jr. and Mikee Bendman (8)

Default Greg Biffle Wins!

Greg Biffle, A first year Nascar Winston Cup rookie from Vancouver Wa!, wins the Pepsi Daytona 400 on July 5th!

Congrats Greg!

I've been an open wheel race fan for more than 25 years, but Greg Biffle in Nascar has made me a fan of that sport as well....

Leroy, I tend to disagree with you. What was happening in cart with the Indy 500 was that too many foreigners were racing in the 500,they came in with all their dollars and pretty much bought a ride ,not giving any of the USA boys a chance to run the big race.Guys such as Tony Stewart for example,he never really got his chance until the IRL formed.Sure he was running in the midgets, but did anyone really take notice of him?Besides The racing is alot closer, alot more passing, and alot more competition.

I'm as patriotic as the next guy, oftentimes more so...

But, what IRL did was take the best drivers, regardless of where they were from, and remove them from one of the best and most famous races in the world.

Forming IRL would have been great! The more the merrier! But shutting the best drivers in the world out of the Indy 500 was just plain wrong.

He basically used his money and his racetrack to ruin a huge event, to further the cause of IRL.

Because of that, the Indy 500 will never be the same for me....

Leroy you're right.I agree with you on a few things. Those great Drivers are in the IRL now, anyway enough of that. What did you think of Jeff Gordon Driving the F1 car at Indy last month? Was that the Bomb or What? They said on his 6th lap he could've qualified for the race last year.Awesome

Is that when the two drivers switched seats?

I'm afraid I missed that one, but I remember him talking about it... On air.
